Building of Indian Parliament:

The Parliament House (Sansad Bhavan) is a circular building designed by the British architect Herbert Baker in 1912–1913.The roof of the outer circle of the structure is supported by 257 granite pillars. The Houses are located on Janpath, a stone's throw away from the presidential palace (Rashtrapati Bhavan). It can be seen from India Gate.

Strange Water Scarcity:

India receives about 4% of the global precipitation and ranks 133 in the world in terms of water availability per person per annum but still in India there is water scarcity. Why? Because we are not able to manage rainwter, about 1.25% of the total rainwater in India gets wasted.The best solution that seems today is rainwater harvesting which must be done at indivisual level.
In villge in Karnatak called Gendathur, about 100000 l of rainwater is harvested.Then why not in your city?

Tourism:
India is ranked world's 4th best holiday heaven by overseas travellers. Still we think there is nothing in India!

1) There are 3.22 million Indians in America.
2) 38% of doctors in America are Indians
3) 12% of scientists in America are Indians
4) 36% of NASA employees are Indians
5) 34% of MICROSOFT employees are Indians
6) 28% of IBM employees are Indians

The problem is our Attitude!

Dear readers,
Yesterday I was waiting for green signal at a square when suddenly a laborer
dragging a thela came shouting at me to move in a red signal.His words were "Are jaane do,agar aapko nahi jaana toh hamein to jaane doh"I considered his foolishness as he was an uneducated person but what about the educated group.Later when I was returning I found that the signal was red but no one even gave a single look at it before crossing it.I was the only person to stand and wait there.Its not about following or not following traffic rules the problem is that we are not willing to change.We have already decided our limitations.Yesterday in a hotel a person after looking at crowd just said that "Ab toh bas yahin baithe rahna hai" whereas we also came at the same time but we got entry in about 15 minutes and that person could not get it becouse of his negativity only.Why we think that nothing can change when we are ourself not ready to change?There is a
problem of parking space everywhere,but still multi storied parking cannot solve the problem because we are not ready to climb stairs so we do not use them.We just see the tangible benefits but we do not see the intangible benefits.We cannot employ a watchman to check that no one keeps vehicle outside on the road because he will himself take Rs.100 bribe and let people keep vehicle.Traffic police cannot send crane there because there is no space for the huge crane on the narrow road.What is result?The road becomes narrow due to vehicles and stalls etc. and finally we face the problem,we are not able to reach our destination fast and then we break traffic rules and do accidents.Finally loss is to our country.Our country loses human resource,our country's GDP remains less,our country's Per Capita remains less and finally when our
country is called undeveloped we blame the govt.We are the real enemies of nation and not those who do not do not shout in India Pakistan Cricket match for India.These are small mistakes but results in big problem.This is my

request to all the Indians, Change your attitude, think positively; the world can change if

we change. Change is the only permanent thing in this world. The development of a nation

is in the interest of the individual. One billion people when divided, cause a big problem for

a nation but the same billion people when united, can become the strength of a country, so

unite together and contribute towards the development of India till you succeed.

The need of Development

Dear readers,
Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam, a real patriot has started a fortnightly e-paper called billion beats.This is in a real sense a positive newspaper aimed at encouraging people for development. A small girl of Class VIII, Lakshmi Sudhakaran perhaps shares the thought I want to convey you about the need for improvement and has written an article in this e-paper which is as follows:

Many a time we have heard our beloved country, India, being called a Third World country.
Most of us just ignore the statement, or even worse, join the critics in poking fun at our
Motherland.There are many jokes passed through the Internet, making fun of Indians and India. We take it in a light-hearted way: After all, what harm can a joke do? I agree with you, it is not worth picking a fight about a silly joke… but do we realize what in light our country is
portrayed to the world? Why don't we feel shame at being called a Third World country?
Because, being brought up in a country completely alien to Indian culture and heritage, we
don't realize the seriousness of the situation. Sure, we hear of poverty, droughts, floods, child-marriage and the rest in the news. We read about political problems.And we hear from quite a lot of people, that the strength of a
nation is its youth. But how many
of us 'youth' even imagine that we
can contribute to our country in a
meaningful way? How many of us
are even aware of the problems
persecuting our country?
Many of India's youth are either
living abroad, or are too 'small' to
make a difference, being from
low castes or having gone
through some kind of trauma in
their lives. But the worst kind is
those youngsters who don't even
care to think of the well-being of
our country, our Motherland,
which has given us an identity of
nationality.
The reason why we children are
called the health, wealth and
strength of our country, is because
we have the strength, will, capacity
and determination to dream. It
is universally known that
teenagers are stubborn and determined…
This is a call to all fellow
teens out there: channel this stubbornness
and determination into a
fire to help our country reach
great heights.
All the children of Mother India,
if you are listening: Dream! Dream
of India achieving a better,
stronger, stabler, more respectable
position in the world. Dream of
India prospering, not only economically,
but in every true aspect
of the word 'prosper'.
Dream of India as a country free
from the stigma of being 'Third
World'. And dream of India
becoming not a developing, but a
developed country. As Walt
Disney said, "If you can dream it,
you can do it!"
So dream each night of India's
eminent success in the near future,
and aspire each morn towards it.
A plea to every Indian in the
world: Stand up to the
world…say, 'Yes, I am an Indian,
and I am proud to be one!'
